- You get a lot more stares when people think you’re a lesbian.

- Rice pudding is the BEST THING EVER. No really. everyone has to try Rice to Riches sometime;;;

- Ask and Setsuna should never, ever meet ICly. Especially when their players are high on sleep-dep and stay up until 6 a.m. and are in the same room. It leads to things like flayed and dismembered hookers and Setsuna kiting Deathwing all about the city.

- The Aerie lives again. \o/ Courtesy of morning_songs. And lol the subdomain name is so a Mary Sue;;;

- pax_deorum is smoking hot, and I would turn lesbian for her. <3 zomg

- lstone needs to come down from his igloo, because I can pretty much guarantee that he would instantly have a harem.

- I’m going to go to CA after graduation. I’m figuring Encinitas, which is apparently near San Diego–mostly because there’s an atelier there that has some really nice classes that I’ve been vaguely lusting after. And it’s probably cheaper living than the Bay Area, which would’ve been about my second choice. Well, I think it is. I was thinking about it, and I came to the epiphany (on the Greyhound bus, about thirty minutes after leaving NYC) that the only reason I’m hesitant about doing it is fear and doubt–and fear is no excuse. While doubt can be reasonable, the only way to really know in this kind of case is to try. Besides–I may not be the most ambitious or successful person ever, but I can generally manage if pushed, and I think I need that push. Lord knows I rarely get anything done on my own, for all my best intentions of studying and practicing by myself.

Of course, this decision may be slightly derailed by the fact that my mum is thinking of moving back to Korea, since my dad got promoted to president of his company. In which case, either my sister or I would need to stay with the house, since she doesn’t want to let it out.

- I’ve never done a pin-up of Jake. o_o Which is weird, because she’s easily the most overtly sexual of all my (current, at least) characters, yet she’s had no cheesecake sketches, while Ms. Ice Queen Setsuri has had dozens, and even Ask had one (not to mention reams of improbably-dressed and -posed sketches of cute). It may be because she’s so very open about her body and sex that being coy or teasing seems kind of pointless. I mean, this is the woman who walks around her house naked while Squall and Cloud are home, if there’s no alternative, and who says things like “either take off your clothes and join me, or go away because I need sleep.”

…I feel like I should fix this lack at some point.

- “Sideling” can sound an awful lot like “silent.” I discovered this after nearly having a heart attack when, in the middle of foggy, snowy Bumfuck, Pennsylvania, I thought the bus driver announced, “In just a few moments, we’ll be stopping for a rest at Silent Hill.”

- Free character transfers? o_o … I may do that. But that depends on who else is going, though–I already moved my Kirin Tor characters, and Setsuri@Uther. Thinking about shifting my Perenolde characters, but not sure.

- chaosblade and atrocity have really nice voices! And are hilarious to talk to. And I apparently need to hear atrocity sing someday.

- Kaki King is freaking awesome, and I need to find more of her stuff. <3333 class="ljuser" user="theqat" style="white-space: nowrap;">theqat, I think you may like her, if you haven’t heard (of) her already–she does some really gorgeous guitar work, layering sounds and notes until it builds up into a complex tapestry of sound.
