Ok, so sorry this post has no photos – we forgot to bring our camera and promise to remedy that the next time we go out (I do look very cute in my new lime green pants). But I just needed to announce that I went SNOWBOARDING for the first time yesterday and it was AWESOME! Ok, I know I am behind the curve and everybody has probably already figured out how fun this is years ago, but I am slow apparently.

We went to Mountain High and had bought their 3-peat tickets which are a great deal for anyone looking to learn how to snowboard – for $129 you get to go 3 times (days do not need to be consecutive), you get a 2 hour lesson each time and full rental gear all three days included! Then after you finish the 3 days you get another full 8 hour lift ticket to use on a 4th day – cool, huh?

If anyone wants to come with us the next time we go, let us know and we can make it a party!

I stink at steering and still fall while trying to link my turns, but I was honestly shocked at how fun it was – especially for the first time. The falling didn’t even hurt really (I have no bruises), and getting off the ski lift wasn’t scary like I had anticipated.
