Leucadia’s Jared Dudley scored 30 points with 10 rebounds to lead Boston College to a 65-58 home victory over Michigan State on Wednesday in the Eagles’ debut in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.
Sean Williams blocked five shots and Shamari Spears had nine rebounds as BC (3-2) outrebounded the Spartans 37-36. Michigan State (6-2) had outrebounded every one of its opponents in its first seven games.
It was a six-point game with 13:17 left when Williams blocked Gaton Suton’s 3-point attempt. Dudley hit a 3-pointer from the left wing, tugging at his jersey and waving to excite the crowd as he backpedaled on defense.
