MiraCosta College Community Services is once again offering the popular workshop “Designing Your Dream Home” from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 3 at MiraCosta’s San Elijo Campus, Room 303, on Manchester Avenue in Encinitas. Presented by Sam Chereskin, A.I.A., an Encinitas architect, the workshop will answer such questions as whether you should you call an architect or a contractor first, what zoning and building permits are needed, and how to estimate the cost.
